The earliest Brooks Pro I have is dated "62" on the underside of the cantle plate. This does not have the large hammered copper rivets; they are about 1/2"

The Brooks Team Pro (3/4" hammered copper rivets) is pictured in the January 1964 issue of Sporting Cyclist (GB magazine) With the magazine's two month lead time that would make this reference November 1963.

Info: Brooks B.17 solid copper rivets - 3/8" approx. (changed to steel rivets later) Brooks Pro solid copper rivets - 1/2" approx. Brooks Team Pro solid hammered copper rivets - 3/4" approx.
