Hey Greg, My advice would be to wait for the Cirque and get a feel for things and see what your needs are and they go from there. One thing for sure is it will be a weekend that will carry many great memories for years to come. Mark Poore Copper Mountain, CO 'til Tuesday Greg Brooks <gregb51@lycos.com> wrote:While grudgingly riding my rollers because of the stinking single digit temperatures plagueing Tennessee these days, a couple of questions came to mind. 1.-Is the Cirque a good place to buy 70's Campy stuff & 70's bikes? I'm trying to decide if I should take my chances on ebay, or wait & do some shopping at this year's Cirque(my first visit). 2.-Does anyone know why Campy made nice hinged clampon front derailleurs, but their clampon downtube shift levers were made with a one piece metal band that has to be bent open & closed to take on & off? It's frustrating to see the chrome plating crack & scale after a few mountings. Maybe I'm just not mounting them correctly. Well, thanks again for your insights.
