Jerry,

My mistake, yes 0.43 mm smaller. Current TA is a tad smaller than the lone sample of old TA French thread.

Obviously, there is some variation among these, and if the TA FR is as big as you can do with FR, it should work OK with BSC. That must have been the thinking.

Note also that I measured only the OD, as I figured that is what will determine whether something fits inside a crank or not.
