For sale -

TA pedals, 2 sets, FR thread (but according to TA, good for BSC, too, see previous discussion), silver cages, "road" style, still the most amazing pedals with ball and needle bearings, grease port, etc. $ 95 each set

650B x 32 mm Michelin Axial Raid tires (four tires). These are perfect for a mid-1960s or later 650B bike, as they measure 30 mm in width. Folding, kevlar-belted, nice-looking (similar to the now-defunct Michelin Axial Select in 700C): light tan sidewalls, black tread (no center ridge), small yellow logo, red line separating tread and sidewalls. These ride and corner very well. If you have an older 650B bike designed for 37-42 mm "demi-ballon" tires, you'd be better off with Bob Freeman's Mitsuboshis. Or use this as a spare (it folds). new, recent production, $ 32 each.

Caminargent frame. No fork. First of all, it's not mine. A friend in Europe is selling it. You'd have to be patient, as it takes a while to get over here. But, according to an authority previously on this list, you'd have one of only a handful of these frames.

Cost is $ 1400 shipped to you. If seriously interested, contact me, and I'll find out details.

Note: I make no claims to the rarity of these bikes. In my experience, they are more common than the authority suggested.

Note 2: The early aluminum forks seemed prone to breaking. So it was not uncommon to replace them (maybe even as a precaution) with steel forks. For example, I have seen a Barra aluminum bike with a Jo Routens fork, owned by a major bicycle wholesaler in France.

Contact me off-list if interested in any of the above.
