even though its near the bottom of the line, and the paint job is poor, they had great lugs, unique paint color, elaborate badging, custom parts to distinguish the brand (carlton hoods, special green tape). they were tried and succeeded in achieving a classy result.
The same thing goes for the early 1980's peugot's with the satin finishes and checkered flag fades along the top tube. sexy.
