But I'm curious, can they really bottom out even if you're using the longer screw? I'm at work, so I can't examine my levers, but my recollection is that the screw hole went through the entire length of the boss. In that case, if the screw is indeed bottoming out, then it must be placing a small dent in the frame as well. So if that is the case, be careful.
