I just returned from Paris, and what Brett neglected to mention about the subject exhibition is that he was the signifiicant contributor of stuff: bicycle, pump, ephemera, and wonderful woolen jerseys. Thank you, Brett. It was a delightful exhibit, and outside City Hall, France Channel 2 had set up an outdoor studio for live broadcasts Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. On Thursday night they presented most of the Tour winners from the past 30 years or so, and we stood 40 feet from the interviews with Lance Armstrong, Eddie Merckx, Bernard Hinault, Laurent Fignon, etc. The interviews took place on a circular stage surrounded by bikes of Tours past (some very classic and some very past).
