I'm looking for any slick or novel tricks and/or proceedures to disassembly and reassembly of three piece hubs like FB, Schwinn, or Airlite, etc. I have several pairs needing rechrome of the steel pieces. Are all of these hubs put together the same way, or are there differences between them? Does anybody have any special fixturing or tools for this job? What about the small flanges versions; I imagine gripping the flanges may be different.
Anyone have any time or grief saving information? I'd appreciate it, off line, unless someone else is curious how it's done or how others go about it. Thanks.
