It might have been the Merckx frames as you said. I wrote to the dealer in the UK and got the attached response. Have to admit the frame looked really good but a bit pricey.

I remember a thread, vaguely, about the De Rosa Anniversary frames...and I also remember, vaguely, someone saying that a person could still order a steel frame with the 70s lugs and graphics, from De Rosa..

Does anyone here know if that's true? Maybe this was a thread about Merckx frames, now that I think about it.

I suppose I'll check with De Rosa.
