Hi David, I have in front of me a RALEIGH brochure from 1985(sorry..it's already sold) It shows the team frame(listed team replica 12 as complete machine) quote 'handbuilt to the Raleigh/Weinmann team specification'...Raleigh team colours..... Available to special order...please allow at least three months for building. The FRAMESET ONLY is also shown, in the back of the brochure but with NO REFERENCE to it at all. Just to confuse things...The back page shows the Raleigh team complete with riders, team manager, and car...with the wording: The Raleigh-Weinmann Team bike specification is- Frameset built with Reynolds 753 tubing;Weinmann Carerra 400 brakes,Carerra rims,Simplex 4000/422 Derailleurs, seat pillar,and fork ends.Maillard 700 series hubs and freewheels;CXC pedals,Selle Italia Turbo saddles,Sedisport chains,Clement/Pirelli tyres,Edco chainsets and headsets.PS Car is Ford Granada 2.3 GL Clear? Team colours are White, Dark Blue headtube/part top tube and down tube, Dark blue foks with yellow and red 'banding' between the White and Blue.
