The above question I believe was asked by Roy Drinkwater. A listmember, unnamed, shared a picture with me yesterday of his Montelataci bicycle. This is one of the frames that Matteo Brandi found in Florence. He had it painted in a very nice classic two color paint. To attest to its age, it is equipped with chromed, clamp top tube cable guides, but he equipped it with modern Campagnolo 9 speed Ergo parts. I think it looks wonderful and I'll bet he enjoys it a lot too. Seems to me that it is a nice blend of the old and the new, similar to what e-Richie said about putting new Record on one of his frames. Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
