oops... I ignored the part about size in my earlier reply! I agree with Raoul; they were 27", which was the only size you could get in that day, if I recall correctly.
on a tangent, today was a wonderful day for a ride along the Illinois river bluffs, enjoying the autumn colors, and a stop at an orchard for fresh bakery treats! Of course, I was riding my '74 Raleigh International, equipped with not-quite-correct 700C MA2 rims.
