FB hubs were considered among the best in pre-war France, together with Maxi. They also made tandem hubs with larger flange spacing, corresponding to a larger dropout spacing (105 mm instead of 95 in the front, and up to 135 in the rear). Most quality French tandems were built to that spec, and Maxi (later Maxi-Car) and others made special tandem hubs as well.
