TO: anyone close to Tucson, Az (or not close but still keen on visiting)-
Announcing the 4th Ave Bike Show....an informal concours d'elegance to be held as part of our bi-annual 4th ave bike swap. http://www.bikegaba.org/
Saturday Nov 15th, 8:30 to 10 am for entry and judging; the winner will be announced sometime after 11 am.
The show will take place in Winsett Park, a fenced-in sidewalk stage and patio area in the midst of the action.
Free to enter bikes and free to attend. There will be lots of vintage iron, but any human-powered thing w/ wheels is eligible. The crowd will cast ballots for best in show...heaping the winner with glory untold, and also a fantastic trophy (thanks to Alan at BICAS).
That time in november is always quite a week for the velophile around here, with a swap meet, mini-trade show, and all the people and events surrounding El Tour de Tucson http://www.pbaa.com/
Stay tuned for an online flyer/ announcement...& email me directly for more info.
