Joe, this was the Luxe competition(short cage), they also made a Luxe super touring, which was a long cage. They were both chrome plated really nice, it is deep. they polich up real shiney, that is also a plus for collectors. Also they aren't that heavy for being chrome steel rear derailleurs. ralph windy and bitter cold Philadelphia, PA

The Luxe has a fancier pantograph mechanism than the Svelto that moves the cage downward for the larger cogs. You don't see many in the US, why I don't know.
