Subject: [CR]60s-early 70s English bike question

Howdy folks.

I am probably going to buy an interesting mystery frame this weekend. I was told it is mid-60s English. What I know is that it has Nervex pro lugs, a dual plate fork crown with round blades and probably some braze-ons that shouldn't be there (7 o'clock interrupted housing rear brake cable routing, down tube shifter bosses). It has solid white, presumeably spray can paint and no markings that I could see in the few minutes I looked at it. If I buy it, I will try to post some detail shots and see if anybody knows/thinks they know what it is. In the meantime, I am wondering how a mid-grade bike of this vintage would typically have been built up from top to bottom (brakes, cranks, shifters/derailleurs etc)?

Thanks,
