I had always thought, perhaps incorrectly, that Pino Moroni and Cecil Behringer made the first titanium frame. It was a lugged, brazed frame (!) rather than welded. I can't recall the exact year, but I believe that it was also around 1970. Any Moroni/Behringer experts have the details?
