I checked out Bob Freeman's link on the 'Merckx' Colnago on Ebay - can't see any evidence of the one strong identifying feature on the Merckx road bikes of the era - his name engraved down the brake levers. I saw two of the tours of that era and all the Merckx bikes on the team cars were instantly identifiable by that alone. Has anyone had any contact with the seller?
