I have a question about overseas payments. I know that a lot of sellers
overseas, say for instance in a country like Germany, they prefer payment wired
to their bank, insured envelope with straight cash inside, or international
money orders. Has anyone ever tried using Traveler's Checks? I get them free
from my bank and they seem to be a cheap alternative for me.
When I was overseas I used them, and they seem to have been accepted by
most everybody. If not, I was always able to go and cash them at a bank without
extra charges. I would like to know what peoples experience or opinions have
been with Travelers Checks type of payment. I would especially like to hear
from our overseas list members. Cheers,
