I'm not as skeptical.

I also had the pleasure of seeing one just like it when while wasting time at College Park Bicycles and someone wheeled one in, looking to trade her departed father's old bike for a mountain bike. I trust she got a nice one.
In this specific offering, I know that you can put decals onto anything, but the frame and forks do have period correct 531 decals, and the crankset looks like a Stronglight 93, a very nice French crankset of its day. The Brooks Pro looks correct, and lots of other nice details.
Oh well, right now its not at its reserve, so it may not go to anyone, at least on this go around.
