Joe, this was the Luxe competition(short cage), they also made a Luxe super touring, which was a long cage. They were both chrome plated really nice, it is deep. they polich up real shiney, that is also a plus for collectors. The Luxe has a fancier pantograph mechanism than the Svelto that moves the
cage downward for the larger cogs. You don't see many in the US, why I
don't know.
This would be a wide range derailleur for its day.
