Subject: [CR]TA fastener timeline

Hi All, I have seen various types of 5 pin and six pin fasteners for TA rings and adapters. The 5 pin crank fasteners are usually 8mm flat head bolts into sleeve nuts, some chromed, some cadmium plated, some bare steel. I have 3 only that I am sure are stainless steel. I have also seen 10mm chamfered nuts. The 6 pin adapter fasteners are usually acorn headed bolts into sleeve nuts. I have also seen these fitted with the 8mm flat heads too. All use "wave washers" to stop them coming loose. Another variation is a very shallow chamfered Allen screw. Can anyone put these variations into a timeline to enable period correct restorations?
