Why do I suddenly have visions of Alastair Sim as Scrooge when I read the posting from Dale Phelps to fellow CR listers? He writes:
"I have no affiliation with you or the people you have business dealings with, and further contact from you is NOT WELCOME!
Surely this sort of "leave me alone" commentary should be taken off list and directed at those concerned - personally! I find it very worrying to read such acrimonious comments on this list (and, I know, I could just ignore them, but that is not the point). This is not what we are all about, is it? Surely, by agreeing to abide by the rules of the list, the author of the above is agreeing to "affiliate" with others on the list?
"How many ways does "leave me alone" need to be said? I am cc'ing this request to your ISP : "please do NOT e-mail me anymore. Further unwelcome contact from you will be reported directly to your ISP as spam." "
Moreover, I find the latter actions to be extreme and worrisome. In short, I find this sort of listing NOT WELCOME on my machine!
