Nope! The italian for sky is cielo.Celeste simply indicates that particular color.

Matteo"Salami"Brandi FIorenza Italia And "Celadon" is a word originating in Italy for a pale greenish or greenish blue glaze that was first seen in the west on porcelain imported from China by Marco Polo. The glaze was believed to have been originally developed to imitate jade. Celadon and celeste are nearly the same color, I wonder if the words have the same root?
