Subject: [CR]Raleigh Team Pro built by Masi?

Ha! I knew I would catch your attention with this subject. Yesterday I got the Raleigh Team Pro (753 tubes) I mentioned already. It has a serial number that doesn't match any scheme described at the Retro Raleigh web site. It looks indeed like a (hold your breath!) Masi like scheme: two characters followed by a three digit that could indicate month and year of manufacture: KH176 Imagine Faleiro crossing the channel in darkness heading for Ilkeston... Just kidding. But does this kind of number ring a bell? 76 could be the year it was built. It looks pretty much like the Team Pro at the 1976 catalogue with some small exceptions, like a lugged fork crown and brased on Campagnolo cable guides at the BB but clamped on guides at the top tube. Parts are a 1974 NR derailleur and "no date" 172,5 SR cranks. Unusual are also the cut outs at the BB, just four parallel cuts with a metal saw. I'll try to provide some pictures.
