I seem to recall it being somewhere between $250 and 300. I think that it had to be 1980 since Schwinn had just discontinued the Continental II.

By the way, I just found my Schwinn catalogs from 1978 and 1979 if anyone needs any prices or specs. ;-)

These had a Nrvex-looking lug in the head, even though more of a cold-chisel-like execution
