While I currently live in Aurora, Illinois; I'm still a member of the Outdoor Club of South Jersey. I've forwarded the above to our email list. If I get any responses I'll post them here.

OCSJ is affiliated with AYH, so there may just be a tenuous connection. Of course Horn & Hardart are long gone, and although I've been up Route 73 and across the Tacony-Palmyra bridge many times I don't recall seeing a Fisherman's Diner.
