The trouble with replying to the entire digest is that it makes it much more difficult to read the digest. There is a digest within a digest. It is hard to keep up with whether I am reading the real digest or the included digest. Confusing........But then.....I am easily confused.....

I agree/disagree with Bob on this issue,
Many times, it helps to see the past email replys in response to the same message topic. However, listing the entire contents of unrelated daily postings just to respond to a single post in inappropriate.
Prehaps a courtesy that may work is to place the most recent email at the top rather than at the bottom and have CR members restrict the number of prior emails listed in the post. This may allow emails to be read more quickly. I wonder if there is some way to filter emails like this through the email provider???
A needed key is to not make the email trail too long with replies that are specific to the posted message...
