Saw one on a mid-70s Motobecane but not sure if it was original or not.

It is a pro 3 attaches crankset. I wouldn't say they are exceptionally prized based on what they bring at eBay auctions. Definitely less than the Pro Vis 5 cranksets (aka cyclotouriste). Nonetheless, it is a nicely made attractive crankset. I don't think that they weren't spec'ed on many production bikes. The Raleigh Competition from the early '70's had them (along with Huret Jubilee derailleurs). Anyone else know what bikes/models had them as a stock component?
