Yes, over 3000 units in 1972. Waterford did continue to build Paramounts as
part of the Paramount program. Imported models had a numeric name, such as
Series 5, while the Waterford frames (available with a choice of Shimano or
Campy kits) were simply Series PDG (for Paramount Design Group). I'll have
to research the sales figures for Japanese vs Waterford Paramounts, but
definitely a lot more Japanese.
