This was the first "women's" saddle I bought in the late 70s. Compared to what I'd been riding, a Brooks, a white Concours and a few others I don't remember, the touring 2 was actually pretty comfortable. I've still got one.

My only objection was that the foam wasn't very dense on the early ones and after it broke down you were still sitting on leather stretched over hard plastic. Luckily Avocet's office was upstairs from PAB and it was easy to get a replacement : )

I don't know where the new Brooks saddles fit in our topic, since they are *new*, but made in the old style, but there are a couple of newer women's racing seats on their website that look kind of interesting. Of course I don't know if I've got the patience for a 4 week break in!
