Use a drill with a small bit and drill two small opposing side holes in the cap, being careful to not drill too deep nor too far outboard so as to fudge the crank threads. Then, to remove the stuck caps, use an adjustable span pin tool (or make one by grinding the tips of needle nose pliers). Soak stick caps with Kroil first though!!
