I wondered about that also, more from the perspective that we never see early Colnagos. Much of the answer is in the interview, I believe. First, most of what Colnago built did not have his name on it. Secondly, he seems to have spent more time as a mechanic than a framebuilder in the early days. I'll give anyone, I don't care who they are, $5 U.S. DOLLARS!!!, yes I said $5 crispy one dollar bills, for the first person who turns up a genuine pre 1965 Colnago frame MY SIZE. No, I'm serious! I've been saving this fiver for something expensive and special like this.
