I also have an Allegro, since I like it, I helped my friend Fred find one, it came with the Super Competition cranks. I think that certain collectors think that they are rarer than they are, as I have seen them selling on Ebay for over $400 Chris Ioakimedes Fairfax California

I have a Stronglight crankset "Super Competition". It's on an old Allegro. Most of the older Stronglight cranksets I know only by their model number. (49 or 93 or...). When was this crankset made? Is it a low-end, high-end or someplace in the middle? Any info would be much appreciated.
