One of the best finds in a British dump came about in 1964.A farmers kids were playing in the dump and brought home an old bicycle. The farmer hacksawed the frame into to keep the kids off it so they wouldn't get hurt. The parts were later sold/gave to a man that collected radios--he traided it(in parts) for a radio out of New Zeland.Took some years to finish--later sold to a friend who told me the story and sent photos --only six left in the world--an 1886 cross frame Ivel. One of the tru grandads of all British bicycles.Never know what you'll find till ya look.........
