I missed part of the thread, but Colonago did produce some bikes labled as Colnago that had the funky pantographed parts, including chaingring, that is shown in the famous photo of Merckx siting next to his bike labled Merckx but which is clearly a Colnago. There were Molteni versions of this bike, as well as baby blue versions.

Supposedly on some of the versions there was a special Merckx decal on the downtube - I'd love to learn more because I have one of these blue ones that is decaled as a usual Colnago but the downtube decal is missing - the original owner described the funky Merckx decal that came off - I'd love to know what itlooks like.

I have also been told that Rolls sold some of these Colnago bikes as a special Merckx version as well. It would be great to know all the varieties of these things that Colnago offered.
