Dear List:
One of my colleagues will be vacationing in Italy for three weeks in April, and graciously offered to stop at any conveniently located bike shops to pick me up a jersey, bauble, or perhaps even have a frameset shipped. My question(s) to the list is as follows: Do any of you have recommendations for shops -- retail or frame fabrication -- in Venice, Florence, Sienna, or the Umbria region? Any possibility of a neo-classic find (even a frameset) in one of these locales? I've never been to Italy and haven't a clue.
Of course, not really interested in off-the-rack frames and parts, as I can pretty much get that stuff stateside.
