In England, didn't it much use to be that just about every place was closed down on sunday, except for the tea shops? Not much else to do but ride a bike or watch the tele.

If you have a English theme at the cirque, for the appropriate atmosphere try to time it with the part of the year that has the worst weather, and eat at restaurants that require massive ampounts of salt and pepper to bring the dishes up to tastes like anything food (excluding scones with clotted cream and strawberries).
