Not everyone needs one of these, even in this group: a chain whip for 3/16"x1" roller or "skip-tooth" chain. I've decided that the best thing to do with a chunk of used chain with a certain "patina" is to make it into a few chain removing tools for your 7, 8, 9, or 10 tooth old-style sprockets. I think I'll have the last three for sale at Cirque for $20 each, built on Genuine Home Depot 3/16" flat steel bar stock. These whips are not your everyday toys. Californians, I'm not sure I'd want to try carrying one of these aboard the plane. If you don't have a skip-tooth bike, or have only one cog for it, it will still look good hanging from your belt, generating awe, lust, and rust stains on your pants.

Reservations accepted now for this exclusive item. If there is sufficient demand, I might wrap with Genuine Sachs bar tape (optional at extra cost). No, the other Sachs.
