OK, I am compelled to list my favorites as well, automatically thinking that everybody should agree with me, but actually knowing better. Here goes:

1978 Cinelli Saddle with aluminum wishbone rails, unpadded, weight 250gm

1982 Galli Criterium Ti-enhanced brakeset, still one of the lightest ever made.

1965ish -1985ish Campy NR pedals, as any one who has ever used a pair knows, these things are INDESTRUCTIBLE, and I don't care how much they weigh.

1980ish Chris King headset. I think others on the list have aslo pointed this one out.

1985ish Campy C-Record Large Flange Hubs, (I think these speak for themselves).

1982 Suntour Superbe Seatpost, simplicity and finish at its finest.

1980ish Phil Wood BB, I think others on this list pointed these out as well.

1982ish Regina SL Chain, a proven workhorse, plus 1/3 lighter than any chain in its class.

1975 Suntour Vx rear derailluer. I don't care what any of y'all say, this thing shifts as perfect as a hot knife through butter.

1984 Campy AL-alloy freewheel. Yeah you had to buy an extra special expensive freewheel tool, but these suckers are great performers no matter what use you put them through.

1972ish Fiamme Yellow label sew-up rims, (these speak for themselves).

1979 Gipiemme ChronoSpecial crankset, looked exactly like the Campy "mexico" crank, but came stock cutout spider arms, not as an after-market afterthought. Plus it was the first crank that I know of to come with AL-alloy crankbolts, plus it had beefier crankarm-spider moldings than did Campy. Pick up this 25+ y/o crank in used condition and look for spider cracks---you will find NONE.

And thats all the news thats fit to print. cheers-
