My order of preference:

Condition Value

[1] An original finish in excellent condition [some minor chips and scuffs in the paint] 90-100% {excellent original components present}

[2]An original finish in good condition [with more blems than above...no rust] 80-90% {good period correct components}

[3]An original finish with 'patina' [as above but some non structural rust] 60-80% {period correct components}

[4]Excellent restoration refinish [high quality paint in original color] 75-85% {good period correct components}

[5]Restoration with additions [as above, but torch work added] 60-75%

[6]Restoration with structural damage [tube, dropout replaced,etc.] 35-50%

Mojo remains with the first three categories; then just goes away.

Categories 3, 4, & 5 major enjoyment from riding.
