i have just aquired a Webster? cycle it is of lightweight construction, has pencil stays twin plate crown forks looks about early mid 1940's , colour is green laquer over nickel plate with double box lining, the headbadge says 'WEBBY' and underneath Chesterfield with a picture of the famous Crooked Spire ( local town church that i think is on Chesterfield cigarette packets ) i have been told the shop which was Websters or Webbs closed in around 1960 has anyone any information on this maker frame no is 21 041 with an E above this is located on top of seat tube. Also what about an R O Harrison page in the British section these are fine machines indeed who there is little on other than they were around from the 1920's ?- 1960's and were in Peckham,London . steve chambers chesterfield, england
