On the CR for sale board, there is a Flying Scot frame being offered. The seller, Chris Barbour has sent me a couple photos of the frame and it looks absolutely wonderful. At $450 plus shipping, it would appear to be a very good deal, especially after recently reading about the cost of resprays etc... Do take a look
Flying Scot frame and fork, 1951. 23-3/4 c-t, 23-1/2 c-c top tube. Refinished in light blue enamel with gold lug lining and correct transfers by Dave Yates. Unridden since restoration. $450.00 plus shipping. Please e-mail for a photo. Christopher Barbour, Boston, Massachusetts 617.627.2398 christopher.barbour@tufts.edu
I have no interest whatsoever in the sale, nor do I know the seller. Should you like to see the photos, but have no intention of purchasing the frame, I would be more than happy to forward you the photos without you needing to importune the seller.
