Tom,
I've been using Matrix ISO 3 clincher rims for maybe 10-12 years now.
LOTS of miles; front still perfect and only changed 1 rear like 2 years ago
when the DT 14 gauge spokes started giving up the goast on the drive side
and I figured might as well put the "new' rim on too. Strongest of their
day.
Now Mavic open pro's are the new choice, but the machined sides say "new
new".

I have come into what seem to be a very fine set of aero tubular Matrix
rims. I was kind of proud of them. Mentioning them to a fellow biking
enthusiast the other day I was rather stunned when he remarked that they
came on Treks. Is this true? Can someone run down a brief history of them?
I thought they were quite high end, but perhaps I am mistaken.
