Many of you are also on IBOB so you'll already have been sitting through the debates and discussions regarding taking a 700c wheeled bike and converting it to 650b. Ed Braley, nne of the list members there - and I believe here as well - has gone ahead and done it with a Heron Road frame that he had sitting around:

While I thought it was a nice looking bike before - I have one that's likely to get the same makeover - I like the looks with the 650b much more. It has gone from being a nice example of "yet another production racing style bike" to a far more unique French light touring look (though it still needs the appropriate handlebar bag to complete the look!)
