I have the following for sale if any are interested:

A 1960's Allegro Special frame and fork with a Campy bottom bracket but no headset. It has the following braze-ons: under the downtube stops for barend shifters, another downtube stop for the front shifter, and over the bottom bracket guide for the rear, with a rear stop on the chainstay. It has Campagnolo dropouts with eyelets. The serial number is 217506. Overall the chrome, paint, and decals are in not very good condition, but the chrome is better than one would expect.

There is a problem with fork, however. There is a dent in it. I bought this bike as a complete bike, rode it sort of off and on for about three years, never noticed anything wrong with it. The dent does not affect the ride, or at least did not while I rode it. With a headset installed, you have to turn the wheel too far for it to have an effect. Without a wheel in and with a headset in it, you can feel it stick when turned far enough. I do not know what it would take to repair this.

If any are interested, I have jpegs, including a couple that show the dent in the fork. $65.00 plus shipping.

Thank you.

Cheers.
