Hi All, Just to clarify something posted by Michael Davis. I am no Claud Butler expert, nor have I presented myself as one. As I remember, I told Michael that the serial number on his bike frame was not consistent with any CB serial numbers I was aware of from the 1930s - 1940s, but was more consistent with a serial number from 1951. (This is based on the serial numbers that have been collected by Norman Kilgariff and myself). Clearly, the answer to this mystery frame will come from a real marque expert who will recognize the construction of the frame. I hope Michael will have pictures of his frame soon. Good riding to you all. Cliff C.J. Scheiner Brooklyn, NY USA
