To me, this bike has absolutely nothing in common with the Ganna city bike
discussed recently. This bike is at least 20 years newer than the Ganna and
shows absolutely no innovative or unusual technical or constructive details. This
Chesini is an everyday Italian city bike from the 70's or 80's with absolutely
nothing noteworthy. Similar bikes are available anywhere in Italy even today.
More than likely it was not even built by Chesini, but rather by one of the
many makers of private label city bikes. The Ganna on the other hand showed a
level of workmanship that was worthy of a boutique builder, with lovely lugwork
and double plate fork crown. It also offered a highly complicated technical
solution to the challenge of offering 'invisible' brake routing.

Wow Steven, it looks like you have a pretty definite opinion about this bike.
I am just glad the seller isn't a member of the CR list!
