Dave,
If you had spent the least bit of time reading my post, you might realize
that I did not say anything negative about the Chesini. I simply pointed out that
your post attempted to make a very dubious claim of similarity between two
highly different bikes that come from completely different eras. The seller of
the Chesini has not shown any apparent belief that he has a 'special' bike, nor
would he have any reason to feel even minimally slighted. The seller of the
Ganna did however know that he had something special and had priced it
accordingly.
As I have gently suggested to you previously, I believe you could do well to
use a bit more reflection before posting to the list and make more judicious
use of offlist responses instead of open responses like the one below.

I am sure you believe in your heart of hearts that you are doing the "right"
thing, and I am sure that is just fine. Dubious, Schmubious, in the big
picture I think I am just going to have to disagree with you on the way you have
handled this quite inocuous Chesini outing. I will only repeat that for his own
sake, I am just glad the seller isn't a member of the CR list.
As for myself, I save my Offlist responses for positive reinforcement and
mutual sharing of upbeat themes. Again, in the big picture, I am going to have to
respectfully disagree with your approach. I hope you will appreciate my
position. Thank you.
