Interestingly, his auction pic for the Stronglight 63 cranks looks very familiar and very unlike any of his other pics.
My wary ears have pricked and some other inconsistencies of which I cannot base anything solid on would make me heed some caution. I would also think that as "pro" he would have known that the late 80's was 135bcd.
